Who has access to your property? do you know ?

Ever looked out your window because a flicker of movement caught your eye?

It is common enough on bigger places where there is space for birds, small roo's or wallaby's or even the neighbours pets , not a problem at all until you look out and it's a person you don't know appearing to be sneaking around, then you feel like going back in time to before Little Johnny in a state of paranoia changed the law and took the majority of our guns, and pull one out and see the uninvited bugger on his way.

It seems the council has decide that animal control people, and others can access your property on the most flimsiest of grounds, "reasonable suspicion that there may be an unregistered animal hidden on your property" or something similar.

This is someone who does not have to have a police check to hold the job, who can come into contact with your children and does not have to have a blue card and who may not really be there for legitimate purposes for all we know.

It would not be hard for any criminal organisation to have their people employed by council to access properties under the guise of looking for dogs but actually caseing your place when you're out and reporting back to those who may rob you.

All too far fetched? of course it is, never going to happen, council will only employ the best of people, . . . . . . . . . .won't they ?

I think it's time for razor wire on the fence, just in case.

The more I hear and read the more I suspect that Bogan has gone looney!
They have decided that ANYONE working in the community is classed as a 'charity', regardless of the fact that charities have to pass rigorous processes and protocols to be registered.
They tell us what we can and can't park on our land, and now they think council officers have carte blanche to enter our properties.
What next?
Will they feel the need to enter our homes to check that we keep them clean and comply to yet another bogus policy?
What will happen if the gate is padlocked, will they jump the fence?
We can't just access offices in the public building called Council, which righfully belongs to the people, so why should they have the right to trepass on individuals' properties?
What's to stop them from taking animals to the pound even though properly fenced in?
People need to object to this obvious breach of privacy and home invasion.

It's a case of the apethetic australian I'm afraid, with those in positions we put them in creating more and more rules so they can keep their job, and basically do what they whant whilst we can do nothing without permission.

I think Logan may be one of the worst places i've ever been for trying to run every facet of our lives, and I have been to quite a few places.

Unfortunately Bogan is proving to constituents and the rest of the country that it is the worst place to live - love Logan, hardly!
When do we start saluting them with a 'Heil Bogan'?

If we find someone trespassing without our permission, on our land, we will ring the Police to report an intruder.
If Council wants to start this kind of dictatorial behaviour they can at least have the courtesy to request permission to enter private property.

As council begins its door to door search of homes for unregistered dogs and cats, Intrusive to say the least because it's just a grab for cash with almost nothing being provided in the way of service in return, it is likely to get the backs up of people.

I hear they have hired people and trained them to be on the look out for water bowls, bedding and food etc

I hope they come to my place because i will instantly put them to work , they can start be catching the stray cats that come to my backyard and then get rid of the possums that eat all my fruit and stay there until the job is done.

I don't really expect that to happen though because Logan isn't about doing anything , just talking and collecting money.
